- Whom can I ask?
With Tai Chi and Qi Gong, listening is practiced inwards. Both movement arts can be learned regardless of age and physical condition. All Asian martial arts and health systems are directly or indirectly based on the thousands of years old body and movement philosophy.
Bring life energy to flow
The Chinese term Qi (Chi) describes a subtle energy that permeates all life. The Qi flows in certain channels, the meridians. In this view, abundant and harmoniously flowing Qi is a prerequisite for health and well-being.
Qi Gong
Qi Gong is an umbrella term for many different exercise methods to activate Qi, dissolve blockages and promote mental and physical abilities. Through the exercises, the body should come to a state of relaxation and calm and unevenly distributed energies should be balanced. In everyday life, Qi Gong should promote concentration and stimulate the body's own defenses. Qi Gong is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan
As with Qi Gong, the focus is on flowing sequences of movements. By imagining movements or situations, the view “inwards” should be sharpened. The three aspects meditation, medicine and martial arts are connected with each other.
Effects on body and mind
The following effects can be achieved with the exercises of Qi Gong and Tai Chi:
- Improving posture and other body functions
- Training of imagination and concentration
- inner peace
Whom can I ask?
Experienced Qi Gong and Tai Chi teachers impart basic exercises and help with the correct execution and further development of the exercise sequences. Fit Sport Austria offers courses throughout Austria as a form of exercise that promotes health.
