Exercise should be made possible daily for all children of kindergarten age by their parents and other caring adults.
Kindergarten children should be physically active for at least 3 hours a day. This period of time can be spread over the day. Of these 3 hours of exercise every day, at least 60 minutes (1 hour) should be used for medium to high intensity exercise.
Attention should be paid to the joy of movement, age-appropriate forms of movement and the broadest possible motor spectrum.
Long periods of sitting should be avoided or repeatedly interrupted by movement.
