Wholegrain fry soup
Particularly recommended for seniors
Ingredients for 2 servings:
100 g root vegetables (carrots, leek, onion, celery)
½ l water
1 bay leaf
lovage, peppercorns, salt
35 g whole grain flour
60 ml skimmed milk
Salt
1 egg
1 tablespoon rapeseed oil

Preparation:
- Chop the root vegetables and bring to the boil in the water. Add the bay leaf, lovage, peppercorns and salt and simmer for about half an hour.
- For the fries, mix the flour, milk and a little salt together, stir in the egg and let the dough rest for ten minutes.
- Heat the oil in a coated pan and bake the pancakes out on both sides.
- Cut the pancakes into strips and serve in a plate with vegetable soup.
