Video: Millet Loafs - Healthy Recipes

Millet patty
Ingredients for 6 pieces:
1 small onion
1 clove of garlic
2 teaspoons of olive oil
125 g millet
250 ml vegetable soup
100 g semi-hard cheese, low in fat
1 egg
10 g whole grain crumbs, freshly chopped parsley

Preparation:
- Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, sweat both in a teaspoon of olive oil until translucent.
- Add the washed millet (wash first warm, then cold) and pour the vegetable soup on top. Steam the whole thing for about 10-15 minutes.
- When the millet has cooled a little, mix in the cheese, egg, breadcrumbs and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Shape this into small patties and roll them in some crumbs. Fry the patties in a little olive oil and serve.
Tip Boiled sauerkraut is ideal as a side dish.
