Carrot and oat patties
Particularly recommended for children!
Ingredients (4 pieces):
100 g oat flakes
¼ l vegetable soup
320 g carrots
salt, pepper, chopped parsley
1 egg
1 small tomato
30 g grated low-fat cheese

Preparation:
- Briefly toast the oat flakes in a coated pan. Pour the vegetable soup on top, bring to the boil briefly and allow to swell for about 10 minutes.

Finely grate the carrots and add to the strained oat flakes with salt, pepper, parsley and egg.
Shape the mixture into four patties and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake in the oven at 170 ° C for about 20 minutes.
- Cut the tomato into small cubes, place on the patties and sprinkle with grated cheese. Then finish baking for ten minutes.
Tip The patties can also be served with mashed potatoes or vegetables or given cold to school.
