Spelled cabbage sticks with an Asian touch
Ingredients for 2 servings:
300 g white cabbage
60 g onions
6 g sugar
4 g oil
140 g spelled meatballs

Preparation:
- Finely chop the white cabbage. Finely chop the onions.
- Caramelize the onions with the sugar. Roast the cabbage.
- Deglaze with rice vinegar and vegetable stock or water and let steam.
- Season with caraway seeds, salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste.
- Cook the spelled buns in salted water until al dente and mix with the cabbage.
Note To give the dish a special pep, you can put a salmon trout roll on the spelled cabbage patch.
Variation with salmon trout rolls
Skin the salmon trout, cut into half-centimeter-thick, flat slices, roll up and stick a toothpick through. Cover and bring to the boil in a pan with butter, salt and a dash of white wine and let it steep for a minute. Serve with the spelled cabbage sticks.
