Wraps with chicken

Particularly recommended for children!

Ingredients for 2 servings:

120 g wholemeal flour

125 ml low-fat milk

125 ml mineral water

2 eggs

2 chicken breast fillets

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 pinch of salt

each ½ yellow and red pepper

½ zucchini

1 carrot a

Preparation:

  • Mix all ingredients for the wraps into a smooth, liquid batter and let stand for 40 minutes.

    Heat some oil in a non-stick pan, fry flatbreads on both sides and keep warm in the oven.

  • Cut the chicken breast fillets into small strips. Mix the oil and salt in a bowl. Turn the chicken strips in the sauce and leave them there.
  • In the meantime, wash the peppers, courgette and carrots and cut into fine strips.
  • Heat a coated frying pan and fry the chicken breast strips until golden brown on both sides for four to five minutes.
  • Add the paprika strips, zucchini, carrot and a little lime juice to the meat and cook everything for four to five minutes over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Spread some of the filling on the top edge of a flatbread, leaving the bottom half and the edges empty.
  • First fold the lower end and then the sides of the flatbread over the meat filling.
