Wraps with chicken
Particularly recommended for children!
Ingredients for 2 servings:
120 g wholemeal flour
125 ml low-fat milk
125 ml mineral water
2 eggs
salt a
little rapeseed oil for frying
2 chicken breast fillets
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 pinch of salt
each ½ yellow and red pepper
½ zucchini
1 carrot a
little lime juice

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients for the wraps into a smooth, liquid batter and let stand for 40 minutes.
Heat some oil in a non-stick pan, fry flatbreads on both sides and keep warm in the oven.
- Cut the chicken breast fillets into small strips. Mix the oil and salt in a bowl. Turn the chicken strips in the sauce and leave them there.
- In the meantime, wash the peppers, courgette and carrots and cut into fine strips.
- Heat a coated frying pan and fry the chicken breast strips until golden brown on both sides for four to five minutes.
- Add the paprika strips, zucchini, carrot and a little lime juice to the meat and cook everything for four to five minutes over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Spread some of the filling on the top edge of a flatbread, leaving the bottom half and the edges empty.
- First fold the lower end and then the sides of the flatbread over the meat filling.
