Preparation:

  • Rinse trout, dry with kitchen paper and season inside and out with salt and pepper.
  • Wash the vegetables and peel the onions. Grate the carrot, cut the celeriac into sticks and the leek into rings. Dice the onions and roughly chop them.
  • Mix the vegetables with the oil. Spread 2 tablespoons of the vegetables on two large pieces of aluminum foil and place trout on top. Spread the rest of the vegetables on the trout, pepper and wrap in foil.
  • Grill the trout on the hot grid (grill) for about 12 to 15 minutes. Alternatively, the trout can be cooked in the oven at 170 ° C for about 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and sprigs of dill.
  • For the side dish: wash the lettuce and cut into small pieces. Wash, clean and cut tomatoes and peppers. Mix the vinegar, oil, salt and pepper well and marinate the salad with it.
