Video: Many Different Viruses Can Cause Hepatitis Infections. The So-called Hepatitis F Or G Viruses Are Not Included

Hepatitis F and G
By far the most common causes of liver inflammation of viral origin are hepatitis A to E virus infections. However, not all viral hepatitis diseases can be traced back to these viruses. Such liver infections are called non-AE virus hepatitis. Among other things, cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) can trigger a viral liver inflammation.
The so-called hepatitis G and F viruses were considered as possible causes of virus-related hepatitis until about 20 years ago. However, it turned out that hepatitis F viruses most likely do not exist and that hepatitis G viruses cannot cause liver inflammation.

Hepatitis F
The publication about the so-called "hepatitis F virus" was a mispublication. The suspected hepatitis F virus does not appear to exist.
Hepatitis G
The so-called "hepatitis G virus" - actually GB virus C (GBV C) - has been known since 1998 that it is not a hepatitis pathogen. This virus is a flavivirus that occurs more frequently in people infected with hepatitis C or in HIV-positive people. With GB virus C it is interesting that HIV-infected people with additional GBV-C infection seem to develop a milder course of the disease. Possible causes of this possible connection are currently being examined.

Portal Hypertension (portal High Pressure) Is Usually Caused By Liver Cirrhosis. It Can Cause Both Physical And Mental Discomfort
Portal hypertension (portal hypertension) The portal vein (Vena portae) is the vessel that carries the venous blood of the abdominal organs (stomach, small intestine, parts of the large intestine, pancreas, spleen) to the liver. There nutrients are metabolized and many substances toxic to the body are converted and excreted.
Hepatitis B Can Be Diagnosed Through Certain Laboratory Tests. Treatment Is Not Always Necessary
Hepatitis B: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Therapy Both acute and chronic hepatitis B often cause no or only atypical symptoms. As a result, hepatitis B infection often goes unnoticed. It is not uncommon for hepatitis B to be recognized when a routine blood test unexpectedly reveals an increase in liver values and then searches for the cause.
In Addition To Liver Damage, Hepatitis C Can Lead To Changes In The Central Nervous System. Those Affected Often Suffer From Fatigue And Depression
