Apple strudel
Particularly recommended for seniors
Ingredients for 8 servings:
1 ½ kg apples
50 g walnuts, chopped a
little cinnamon
1 tbsp honey
20 g whole grain crumbs
1 strudel dough
1 teaspoon skimmed milk

Preparation:
- Peel and grate apples and mix with walnuts, cinnamon, honey and breadcrumbs.
- Roll out the strudel dough and wet with a little water.
- Spread the apple mixture on the lower third, roll up the strudel and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Brush the strudel with milk.
- Bake in the preheated oven at top and bottom heat and 180 degrees for about 20 minutes until golden.
